COUNSELLING/THERAPY
I support you to feel joyful, hopeful, full of energy and at peace again.
Hi, I am so glad that you are here. I know that it can be confusing searching for and finding the right therapist for you. I want you to celebrate making it this far.
Whatever you are dealing with, experiencing and feeling, beginning therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself.
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out or just plain tired and can’t really put your finger on why? Or you do know why but don’t really know what to do about it? Then, you are in the right place.
In our sessions you will have a safe, confidential quiet space to reflect and just be. I listen, with no judgement, but with empathy. Together, we will work on identifying what you are facing. We will also uncover and manage the thought patterns and emotions that underlie your behaviours and actions.
As a qualified psychologist based in The Netherlands, I offer counselling sessions in person in The Hague, or online, if you are further afield.
Get in touch to see if we click and whether you feel I could support you during whatever it is that you are going through. I look forward to hearing from you!

When we decide to work with someone the most important elements I believe that underpin such an alliance are trust, feeling comfortable and safe. So, I think it would help if I told you a little bit about myself. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved listening to stories. My maternal grandmother was a great storyteller and I would often follow her around asking her to ‘tell me something’.
Today, as an adult, I feel privileged that my clients entrust me to hear, and safeguard their stories. However, working together is more than me just listening to you. I provide a safe space to talk about whatever it is that you are going through, and walk alongside you during our sessions (metaphorically speaking! However I also offer walking sessions in the Hague. Contact me for more information) . Over the course of our time together we will design tools unique to you that will help you to navigate future paths.
I moved to the Netherlands as a young teenager so I know what it is like to move and belong everywhere and nowhere at the same time (I guess that is why many of my clients are expats or adult third culture kids). I wear many hats, therefore, I also understand what it is like to juggle many balls in the air. If you are feeling overwhelmed I can support you to make sense of what is going on in your life.
